Belly Beads – Visualization Educational Tool

These belly beads help mothers and fathers reinforce frequent, small feeding for newborns.  They are a lactation education tool that helps families visualize how small a newborn’s stomach is. This helps educators reinforce that baby needs small frequent feedings.

Small bead represents newborn stomach capacity and colostrum production of 5-7 ml, Medium bead represents 3-10 day old capacity of 22-27 ml.

Includes a belly beads user tip card.
