Crying is baby’s way of communicating

Remind parents that crying a way that babies them know something is wrong.
The tear pad lists reasons for why crying happens. Baby may:

• be hungry or in pain
• be too hot or too cold
• need to be held or burped
• be startled
• need a diaper change
• be tired
• be sick

The tear pad also lists ways to calm a crying baby:

• stay calm
• walk, rock or dance with the baby
• take the baby for a ride in a stroller or carseat in the car
• offer the baby a toy
• turn on music, running water for consistent, rhythmic noise
• wrap the baby in a warm blanket
• ask for help and more

Bilingual, English on one side, Spanish on the other. Sheet measures 8½ x 11″ with 50 sheets per pad .
