Diaper Diary Tear Pad – English & Spanish Versions
IBCLC Kay Hoover and Barbara Wilson-Clay designed the Diaper Diary Tear Pad. This pictorial sheet shows what a newborn breastfed baby’s poop looks like. The Diaper Diary is an evidence-based clinical tool. It provides a reliable source of monitoring breastmilk intake in the first postpartum week and prevents re-hospitalization. The backside has a simple chart to help moms record wet and dirty diapers. Written at a 4th grade reading level, 50 sheets per pad.
