Safety Around the Home Little Book
Safety in high danger areas is the focus
Safety Around the Home Little Book highlights key home safety tips. Some pages show photos of dangerous situations and objects, helping the whole family recognize danger spots in and around the home. Others model safe behavior around streets, cars and bicycles. Accompanying each photo, rhyming text makes a specific child safety tips easy to remember.
The children’s book format makes it easy for parents to repeat key safety messages to toddler and preschooler who need to hear a rule many times in order to understand its importance. This can help parents reinforce the message without yelling and hitting. It also creates a great starting point for other safety discussions in the home or in an early Care and Education setting. © 2018
